The Dermalux Facial

Immediate results with no downtime

The Dermalux Flex MD is powered by clinically proven therapeutic light energy, which triggers the skin’s natural rejuvenation and repair processes without pain or downtime. You will be able to see results from the first treatment as your skin begins to transform from a dull appearance to one that glows with an even complexion and restored vitality. After multiple targeted treatments, specific skin concerns on your face or body will be improved with long-lasting effects.

The Tri-Wave system delivers three clinically proven wavelengths of light that can be delivered individually or in combination to target multiple skin conditions. These include:

  • Acne fighting blue light: Eliminates the bacteria that causes acne through antibacterial action while being gentle on the skin

  • Cell renewal red light: Triggers a cascade of skin-enhancing effects, boosts collagen and elastin, increases hydration levels and accelerates cell renewal for smoother skin and a revitalised complexion

  • Regenerating near-infrared light: Targets the deepest layer of skin to increase blood circulation, accelerate repair, calm irritation and build strength against sensitive skin conditions

By uniquely combining three wavelengths simultaneously, Dermalux Flex MD promotes focused and concentrated light energy for healthier skin cells that can regenerate up to 200% faster, leading to a more youthful, healthy and radiant complexion.

How does red light therapy help with skin rejuvenation?

Collagen is most often associated with youthful skin (this protein makes up about 80% of the skin), but it is also present in muscles, joints, and connective tissue. Collagen production can be altered by aging, chronic inflammation, and other factors.

Red light therapy stimulates collagen synthesis to help with anti-aging, wound healing, and joint pain. It may even reduce the progression of osteoarthritis by stimulating the production of Type 3 collagen found in cartilage.

Red light therapy also stimulates elastin and hyaluronic acid production. Elastin is the protein that allows the skin to bounce back after being stretched. Hyaluronic acid also helps the skin stretch and supports skin wound healing.

In a study involving 113 participants, the red light therapy treatment group experienced significantly improved skin complexion along with smoother skin and intradermal collagen density increase.
